Rev. 5:4 - "So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it."

"Good men may be too eager and to hasty to look into the mysteries of divine conduct. Such desires, not presently answered, turn to grief and sorrow. Hope deferred makes the heart sick." Matthew Henry on Rev. 5:4

Mission Network News (Pakistan)--Here's an update on a story of a 14-year-old Christian girl who was kidnapped in Pakistan. According to Voice of the Martyrs, Naira Nadia was kidnapped because she was sharing her faith with her Muslim friends. A recent letter from her mother suggests a powerful Muslim, Maqsood Ahmed Sheikh is still holding the young girl. To cover up the crime, Sheikh sent a certificate to the girl's family claiming she had converted, which is illegal for a minor. Police are ignoring the family's request for justice.

Gary Cherone (former lead singer for Van Halen) sent a letter to Eddie Vedder (lead singer for Pearl Jam) for Vedder`s comments in Rolling Stone Magazine. Vedder basically said that terminating a pregnancy is not an easy thing to do.

Cherone asked Vedder:

"Is the life within the mother`s womb a human person? If the answer is no, it is not a human person why would one feel [terminating] it is not an easy thing to do?

If the answer is yes, it is a human person, why would one advocate terminating it? ..the unborn is not a human person, no justification for abortion is necessary. However, if the unborn is a human person no justification for abortion is adequate."
